We were craving for spicy Chinese cuisine so we visited Chairman Sun last weekend with our foodie friends. They serve various dishes with reasonable price and huge portion. Our favorite was the Hot & Spicy Pig Knuckle which was really spicy and flavorful.

All the food was top class. The cooking was clean, and the flavors fresh. The soup dumplings were the most flavorful I've had, even the bottoms came off. The Dan Dan noodles had a nice spicy kick. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly, and the food came out quickly.

We have walked by Chairman Sun many times but never really walked in because it always looked empty. We finally decided to give it a try for a late dinner. The restaurant looked empty when we walked in but turned out that they have a huge back room where diners were. We tried the dry pot and the Hunan beef. Both were delicious and the portions were very generous. Service was not great - most of the time the waiter was on his phone completely ignoring us. If they improve the service, this restaurant has huge potential.

We came here during weekend lunch time, and no reservation was needed. The spicy dry pot was pretty good, and I also liked the roasted green chili with eggplants. The food was a bit on the more oily side. The staff and the ambiance were both pretty good. It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant if you happen to come to this area.

The dry hot pot is *chefs kiss*! We got 9 additions in the pot between 2 people and it was more than enough. I’d suggest sticking to 8 additions unless you’re prepared to overeat. Spice level is HOT! We got the medium spicy and it had a kick more than I expected.

This restaurant serves tasty and authentic Sichuan food (among other aspects of Chinese cuisine) that always keeps me coming back. I’m surprised that it’s usually not busy, because it has delicious food that always hits the spot, probably the best Sichuan I’ve ever had, great service (friendly staff, waiters with great recommendations, food comes out quickly), and a lovely atmosphere (spacious, beautiful decorations, music). It’s definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, and it’s underrated - go check it out and order some authentic dishes! You won’t regret it. Note: spice level can be inconsistent, so make sure to specify when ordering

Chairman Sun welcomes you with high ceilings and big glass doors which opens up to a beautiful water fountain and tree. A closer look reveals that the artificial tree was used to cover up a support pillar. What an excellent idea. Beautiful extensive decorations with the proper use of wood design really makes it pop. If you’re hungry, this would be the perfect spot. Food comes out in lightning speeds and most importantly, it tastes amazing.
